Perseverance, Por Favor
I went blog-hopping after such a long time and felt very good about it. Catching up with old friends and making some new ones. Patting people in the back and hitting people between their eyes.
Only then did I realize how much I have changed. From a person who does things he wants on the fly to someone who is getting mired in his misery. I have so many things I desperately want to do right now, but still I can't just go on do it.
Sometimes the pressure of prioritizing is too much. Sometimes life is better when you are a rogue. Sometimes all of us need a gloomy day just to remind us how we've basking in the sun. It's the darkness that makes the sun so beautiful, indeed.
I have 2 options, I can either break free and let go of all things material, or I can grind my teeth and hold myself up until I rightfully get all things ethereal. In normal circumstances I would have gone ahead with the first option, no doubt, but the circumstances I am in are far from normal now.
Whatever I am thrown at I always believe in the philosophy I had painstakingly posted on my ceiling at home and my mom still hasn't figured out the meaning. The poster that I wake up to see every morning which reads 'I Persevere, I Rule'.
